HOW DO YOU FACILITATE AN EXCHANGE OF CULTURAL INSIGHT?

THE SITUATION:

In the summer of 2015 I traveled to India to work as a marketing intern for 2ADPRO, an international design and technology company specializing in digital media. I lived and worked in Chennai and Bangalore for 2 months, successfully heading a charity project, growing the company’s social presence and engaging in meaningful cultural exchanges.

THE INSIGHT:

In order to fully develop an international company, cultural exchanges must happen both ways to build meaningful connections.

THE APPROACH:

While many of my co-workers worked on American brands, they did not have the full cultural understanding of American traditions. The company needed to have a cohesive social presence to communicate their business expertise and digital savviness internationality. Therefore, I revamped 2ADPRO’s social presence, and created a comprehensive brand strategy document to ensure growth would continue after my internship.
